President Trump announces his pick to replace outgoing Small Business Administrator, Linda McMahon.
The President took to twitter Thursday evening, saying Jovita Carranza will be nominated to fill the position.
The announcement comes after McMahon, who has been serving in the Trump Administration for two years, said she would step down effective April 12.
Carranza is currently serving as the U.S. Treasurer, and previously served as the Deputy Administrator for the Small Business Administration.
Following the announcement, McMahon took to Twitter saying Carranza will make a wonderful fit, adding, “I know her well and I am a huge fan.”
