President Trump said he does not see Joe Biden as a political threat. While speaking with reporters outside the White House Friday, the president took another shot at Biden by saying he has a horrible political track record and he’s partly to blame for the failures under Obama.
The president also defended a parody video he posted of Biden on Twitter, and spoke out on the behavior misconduct allegations surrounding his possible 2020 rival.
“I think I’m a very good messenger, and people got a kick out of it,” said President Trump. “He’s going through a situation, let’s see what happens, but people got a kick…we gotta, sorta smile a little bit, right?”
The president added, he is confident in his reelection chances and has no problem taking on any of the Democrats running in 2020.
He also announced he will not be attending this year’s White House Correspondence Dinner, and will be holding a rally instead. This will mark the third straight year the president has skipped out on the annual event.
