President Trump speaks at Farm Bureau Convention

President Trump attended the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 100th Annual Convention on Monday in New Orleans, where he gave a speech to attendees and touted the tremendous future of the agriculture business.

He also noted the progress made with China amid the ongoing trade talks, saying things are moving forward.

The president then addressed his duty to protect the United States. He urged Democrats to support border security and fund the wall.

“We will end it. We will end it. You know when we have proper security people aren’t going to come except for the people we want to come, because we want to take people in to help our farmers etc. Very important. We’re gonna make that actually easier for them to help the farmers, because you need, you need these people. It will make it easier.” — President Donald Trump

The president also praised GOP leaders in attendance for inviting him, including Louisiana Senator John Kennedy and Congressman Steve Scalise.
